Ah, the sun as painter… You are sunshine, Kate! Beautiful painting and verse…; -)

O I love this, Kate: both the watercolour and poem, the sun as a painter, great metaphor —

I see it;s an old watercolor; I hope you are still painting — you are good :)

Thank you, John. 🙂
I’m in a slump right now. My husband died seven weeks ago after being on Hospice for a few months. The “want-to” regarding painting has left me, but when the time is right, I’m sure it’ll return.

oh dear; hugs from me, Kate; that is hard, so recent; I found when my ten year relationship ended, my writing was a great comfort; family too, of course, and my Friday night mates :)

I’m becoming accustomed to my life alone. I can still write, though I’m not as productive right now, and hope soon feel the want-to to paint. It’s been too long.
I’m sorry for my late response. I haven’t been on WordPress for several days while attending to other matters.

that’s fine, Kate; I’ve gown used to living alone — though I still interact with people most days —
