hainka #6

summer days long gone
green gave way to barren limbs
sunny days to clouds

a presence now gone
enshrined in yesterday's dreams
summer days long gone
surge grimly through troubled thoughts
scrubs away turbulent times

  1. Wow; another beautiful painting… so vibrant and real, I could fall asleep next to it, feeling a gentle breeze across my sunburnt brow… And the verse makes poignant the cleansing of past memories … good and bad…; -)

    1. Aw, thank you, Liam. ☺️ My brother-in-law (husband’s brother) asked if he could have it, and it now hangs in his home.
You get the poem, though l’m trying to keep the good and let go of the bad. 💙
